The Cost of Carrying the Anointing
The Cost of Carrying the Anointing
The anointing is not just power — it is a price.
Before the oil flows publicly, crushing happens privately.
Many desire the glory, but few are willing to endure the process.
The anointed path is often lonely.
Friends may misunderstand you.
Doors may close.
Comfort will be taken away.
God will separate you before He elevates you.
The anointing will cost you sleep — because prayer will become your hunger.
It will cost you popularity — because obedience will make you different.
It will cost you relationships — because not everyone can follow where God is taking you.
It will cost you pride — because brokenness is where oil flows.
Before David wore the crown, he faced the cave.
Before Joseph ruled the palace, he endured the pit and prison.
Before Jesus walked in power, He carried the cross.
The oil flows where there has been crushing.
The fire falls where there has been sacrifice.
Sometimes God allows pain not to destroy you, but to deepen you.
He allows pressure to produce oil.
He allows isolation to build intimacy with Him.
He allows tears to water your calling.
The anointing will make you uncomfortable in places you used to fit in.
It will push you away from distractions.
It will call you higher when others are settling lower.
But hear this —
What it costs you cannot be compared to what it will release through you.
The anointing breaks yokes.
The anointing changes lives.
The anointing opens spiritual doors.
The anointing carries God’s presence.
If God is pressing you, don’t complain — He is producing oil.
If He is separating you, don’t fight it — He is preparing you.
If the journey feels heavy, remember: you are carrying something powerful.
Not everyone is called to carry this weight.
But those who do will walk in God’s authority.
✨ The crushing is painful, but the oil is precious.
🔥 The process is hard, but the purpose is glorious.
