Come Boldly
from Daily Light: Morning and Evening Devotional
Morning
You shall put the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. So Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord.
[Jesus], because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. • [He] is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory.
Seeing... that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace.
The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long; and he shall dwell between His shoulders.

Evening
That night the king could not sleep.
You hold my eyelids open. • Who is like the Lord our God... who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and in the earth? He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. • Your way was in the sea, Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps were not known. • The wrath of man shall praise You; with the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.
The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. • We know that all things work together for good to those who love God.
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Esther 6:1; Psalm 77:4; Psalm 113:5-6; Daniel 4:35; Psalm 77:19; Psalm 76:10; 2 Chronicles 16:9; Romans 8:28; Matthew 10:29-30
Do you see yourself as sheltered by Jesus? Found faultless because of Him? Closely watched and loved by Him? Valued beyond our ability to understand?
