🖊 *MESSAGE*

A woman boldly said she and her husband had not slept together for years. That sounded very odd and surprising! She was asked how they both coped. And she replied they were in different businesses, so they just get up in the morning, get ready for business and leave and each would come in at different times. As the discussion continued, it was discovered their feelings for each other was completely gone and that the problem started from unsettled misunderstandings and misinterpretation of actions. She was counseled with Scriptural position on marriage intimacy. And, to the glory of God, she went home very sober. Today, her husband drives around with her, which indicates a better marriage relationship.

From the passage we read today, the wife and husband, each has a big role toplay. The woman is *commanded* to submit to her husband in *everything*. This is not a plea or suggestion but an order that must be strictly adhered to if the wife must make heaven at last. Some of the problems start when somewomen begin to make more money than their husbands but they forget that from the day they took the marital vow, their husbands became their heads in
all things. Other problems are lack of trust and communication breakdown.

Every mother reading this devotional today should spend some quiet time with the Lord alone. Think back to when and how you started; has your relationshipwith your husband grown better or worse? If better, more grace. But if worse, repent before God and ask for your husband's forgiveness. Learn to always say "I am sorry" when you are wrong. Let this reconciliation and restoration be extended to your children. The family must be one.

🎚 *CONTROLLING THOUGHTS*

Wives submit to your own husbands in all things.

🙏🏽 *PRAYER*

Oh Lord, help me to always obey Your word in my marriage. Amen.
