Woman who Disrupted Church Services Receives Christ
An evangelical church in Turkey was worshiping when a woman, a teacher in their city, entered the building and began accusing them of making terrible mistakes because Christianity was loaded with mistaken doctrines. She did this often—angrily speaking against the church like a “permanent enemy,” the ministry said.
They would simply stop and listen until she finished; then tell her they would pray for her. “I don’t need your prayers,” she countered. “Pray for yourselves and ask Allah to give you an understanding mind.” She brought home a New Testament that the church provided and began searching for the mistakes she was so sure were there. But God was at work in her heart.
Some time later, she returned and sat across from where the pastor was just beginning the sermon. “I was praying within my heart asking God to help me overcome what she might do at this time and only preach God’s Word to those in attendance,” he said.
As soon as he finished, she jumped up and approached him. “Oh my, please forgive me,” she said. “I now believe in the Lord Jesus, as I’ve finished reading the New Testament and find no mistakes in it. I saw only LOVE expressed, so I have accepted Jesus as my Savior.” She asked to be baptized and took lessons to prepare for baptism.
“She has bowed her knees to the very Lord she was cursing, and in the building that she wanted destroyed,” the pastor said. “It was the New Testament ... that drew her into accepting God’s Truth as she found the answers to the questions she had that caused her anger against Christianity. God’s Word changes lives in amazing ways.”
