Esau came in from the field, exhausted and starving. In that moment, nothing mattered more than satisfying his immediate need.

So when Jacob offered stew in exchange for his birthright, Esau said yes.

And when he later wanted it back,

it was too late.

Many are doing the same thing—not with stew, but with choices:

Trading purity for pleasure

Calling compromise “wisdom”

Choosing comfort over calling

Valuing now over forever

may be connected to something eternal.
