Please, as a male minister, be very careful about how you counsel ladies

Please, as a male minister, be very careful about how you counsel ladies. If possible, have a female assistant present. If you must counsel a woman, do it in an open place where others can see you.

Many times, the devil and the kingdom of darkness use these situations to bring ministers of God down. That is why I want to advise every male minister today, whether you are a pastor, prophet, evangelist, or hold any other ministry office: be very careful, especially when dealing with younger ladies.

Never counsel a lady in a private or secret place. Instead, meet in an open environment, such as a church office with visible access or another public setting where people can see that nothing inappropriate is taking place.

I know what I am saying because I have heard many real-life stories and testimonies of ministers whose lives and ministries were damaged through situations like these.

Please do not say, "I am spiritually strong; nothing can happen to me." No one is beyond temptation or false accusation. Be wise, remain vigilant, and guard both your testimony and the name of Christ.

Remember that ministry is not only about having a clean heart before God but also maintaining a clean reputation before people. The Bible says we should avoid every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Even when nothing sinful has happened, a situation that creates suspicion can damage years of faithful ministry.

Set clear boundaries from the beginning of your ministry. Boundaries are not a sign of weakness; they are a sign of wisdom. A minister who establishes healthy boundaries protects both himself and the people he serves.

If a lady needs long-term counseling, consider involving your wife if you are married, a mature female
