THE SEVEN HORNS AND SEVEN EYES OF THE LAMB

🐑 THE SEVEN HORNS AND SEVEN EYES OF THE LAMB

One of the most mysterious visions in Revelation appears in Revelation 5:6:

“I saw a Lamb… having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

Why seven horns?
Why seven eyes?

The Bible often uses horns as a symbol of strength, power, and authority. The seven horns point to the Lamb’s complete and perfect power.

The seven eyes are explicitly connected with the seven Spirits of God—a picture of the fullness of God’s Spirit and perfect divine awareness.

And this Lamb had been slain.

Yet He stood.

He was wounded, but victorious.
He was sacrificed, yet He reigns.
He was worthy to take the scroll and open its seals.

The Lamb is not powerless because He was sacrificed. His sacrifice is part of His victory.
