REPENTANCE IS MORE THAN TEARS. IT IS TRANSFORMATION

REPENTANCE IS MORE THAN TEARS. IT IS TRANSFORMATION.

There are moments when we cry before God because we feel guilty, broken, or ashamed of the things we have done. Tears can express a wounded heart, but true repentance goes deeper than emotion. Repentance means turning away from the life that separates us from God and choosing to walk in a new direction.

You can cry today and return to the same sin tomorrow. You can say, “Lord, forgive me,” while still holding on to the very things He is asking you to surrender. But when God truly changes your heart, your choices begin to change, your attitude begins to change, your words begin to change, and the direction of your life begins to change.

True repentance is not simply feeling sorry for what you did. It is becoming willing to leave it behind.

God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for hearts that are humble, honest, and willing to change. When you fall, get back up. When you sin, confess it. When God reveals something that needs to change, don't make excuses—surrender it.

Don't just cry over your past. Let God transform your future.

Your repentance may begin with tears, but let it continue with obedience.
Your prayer may begin with “Lord, forgive me,” but let your life say, “Lord, I will follow You.”

DON'T JUST FEEL SORRY. TURN AROUND.
DON'T JUST ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. WALK IN OBEDIENCE.
DON'T JUST CHANGE FOR A MOMENT. LET GOD CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.” — Matthew 3:8
