TITHING IS MORE THAN MONEY—IT IS AN ACT OF FAITH, TRUST, AND OBEDIENCE. 

Tithing reminds us that everything we have ultimately comes from God. Our income, abilities, opportunities, strength, and daily provisions are blessings entrusted to us. When we give, we acknowledge that God—not money—is our true Provider.

The Bible gives us a powerful promise in Malachi 3:10:

> “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

— Malachi 3:10 (KJV)

This verse reminds us that God takes our faithfulness seriously. Tithing is not simply about giving a percentage of our income—it is about putting God first and trusting His provision.

When finances are difficult, giving can require faith. But our confidence should never be placed in the amount remaining in our hands. Our confidence should be in the God who holds our future.

Let us give not because we are trying to purchase a blessing, but because we recognize God’s goodness and desire to honor Him. Let our giving come from a willing and grateful heart.

Money can run out.

Opportunities can disappear.

Circumstances can change.

But God remains faithful.

May we never allow wealth to become our master. May what God has placed in our hands become a means to glorify Him, bless others, support His work, and demonstrate our faith.

Put God first.

Trust His promises.

Give with a willing heart.

Live faithfully.

And remember: the greatest blessing is not merely what God puts into our hands, but the privilege of knowing, serving, and trusting Him.

GOD IS OUR TRUE PROVIDER.

OUR GIVING IS AN EXPRESSION OF OUR FAITH.

OUR TRUST BELONGS TO GOD.
