MISS THE RAPTURE, AND YOU WILL FACE THE TRIBULATION? THE WARNING OF REVELATION 9:1–11

MISS THE RAPTURE, AND YOU WILL FACE THE TRIBULATION? THE WARNING OF REVELATION 9:1–11

There is a serious warning in the Word of God that every soul should take time to consider. The Bible speaks of a coming time of judgment, suffering, and spiritual darkness. In Revelation 9:1–11 (KJV), John describes a terrifying vision of locusts coming out of the bottomless pit after the fifth trumpet is sounded. Their appearance and power reveal how dreadful the judgments described in this passage will be.

These are not ordinary locusts. Revelation describes them as part of a supernatural judgment permitted during a time of great tribulation. Their king is named Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek, meaning Destroyer. This passage reminds us that rebellion against God is not something to take lightly and that the judgment of God is a serious reality.

🔥 DO NOT IGNORE THE WARNING OF GOD!

Today, many people are busy with their careers, businesses, entertainment, relationships, and personal ambitions. They plan for tomorrow but rarely think about eternity. They prepare for storms, save money for emergencies, and protect their earthly possessions, yet neglect the most important preparation of all: preparing their souls to meet God.

The greatest danger is not simply being unprepared for a difficult future. It is living a life of sin while repeatedly rejecting the truth, ignoring the call to repentance, and assuming there will always be another opportunity to make things right with God.

You can postpone many things in life, but you should never postpone repentance.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV):

“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Notice the word NOW. Not someday. Not when life becomes easier. Not when you are older. Not after you have enjoyed everything this world offers. Today is the time to seek the Lord, turn away from sin, and sincerely surrender your life to Him.

🙏 ARE YOU READY TO MEET THE LORD?

Do not base your confidence on your religious title, your family background, your church attendance, or the good things you have done. Examine your heart in the light of God's Word. Are you walking in obedience? Are you seeking holiness? Are you forgiving others? Are you growing in prayer? Are you willing to repent when God corrects you?

Christianity is not merely about claiming to know Jesus with our lips. It is about genuinely following Him with our lives.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:42 (KJV):

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”

We do not know the day or the hour of the Lord's coming. Therefore, we must live faithfully every day. We should not wait for terrifying signs or terrible events before deciding to seek God. The time to build a relationship with Him is now.

⚠️ DO NOT LET THE DISTRACTIONS OF THIS WORLD STEAL YOUR ETERNITY.

Money cannot save your soul. Fame cannot erase your sins. Popularity cannot replace obedience to God. Worldly pleasures cannot give you the peace that comes from being reconciled to your Creator.

One day, every earthly possession will lose its value. The applause of people will fade. The things that once seemed so important will no longer matter. What will matter is whether we have lived according to God's truth and responded to His call.

This is not a message intended merely to frighten people. It is a call to awaken spiritually, examine our lives, and take the Word of God seriously. The purpose of a biblical warning is not to leave us hopeless, but to point us toward repentance, faith, and the mercy available through Jesus Christ.

❤️ THERE IS STILL HOPE IN JESUS CHRIST!

If you have wandered away from God, return to Him. If you have become spiritually cold, seek Him again. If you are living in sin, repent and turn toward Him. If you have neglected prayer and His Word, begin again with a sincere heart.

Do not mistake God's patience for permission to continue in sin. His mercy is an invitation to repentance.

The Lord is calling people to wake up, turn from sin, and live in readiness for His return. Let us not become careless, distracted, or spiritually asleep. Let us remain faithful, prayerful, watchful, and obedient to the Word of God.

THE QUESTION IS NOT WHETHER THE WARNING SOUNDS TERRIFYING. THE QUESTION IS: ARE YOU TAKING GOD'S WORD SERIOUSLY?

May we be found faithful, watching, and ready—not because we trust in our own righteousness, but because we have placed our faith in Jesus Christ and are walking according to His Word.
