SUPPORT YOUR CHURCH: NOT JUST WITH WORDS, BUT WITH YOUR LIFE

SUPPORT YOUR CHURCH: NOT JUST WITH WORDS, BUT WITH YOUR LIFE

The church is not strengthened by the pastor alone, nor by a few faithful members. The church becomes stronger when every believer is willing to pray, attend, serve, and work together for the glory of God.

1\. Support your church with your PRAYERS. 🙏

Pray for your pastor, church leaders, ministries, and fellow believers. Ministry is not always easy, and those who lead God's people need spiritual strength, wisdom, and encouragement. Instead of criticizing your leaders, pray for them. Instead of spreading division, become a person who brings peace and unity.

“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)

2\. Support your church with your PRESENCE. ⛪

Your presence matters. Do not treat gathering with God's people as an unnecessary activity that you can easily neglect. When believers gather to worship, learn the Word, encourage one another, and grow in faith, the whole church is strengthened. Be faithful, not only when it is convenient, but also when you must make sacrifices to be there.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another...” — Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)

3\. Support your church with your PARTICIPATION. ❤️

God has given every believer gifts, talents, time, and opportunities to serve. You do not need to be a pastor to make a difference. You can serve through worship, teaching, cleaning, welcoming visitors, helping those in need, giving according to your ability, and encouraging those who are struggling.

Do not always ask, “What can my church do for me?” Also ask, “What can I do to help my church fulfill the purpose of God?”

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another...” — 1 Peter 4:10 (KJV)

### Remember this truth.

A church is not merely a building where we gather every Sunday. It is a community of believers called to worship God, proclaim His Word, care for one another, and reach the lost.

Do not be a member who only watches while others work. Do not be a believer who expects blessings without a willingness to serve. Do not allow pride, offense, gossip, or personal differences to destroy the unity of God's people.

Pray for your church. Be present in your church. Participate in the work of your church. Most importantly, do everything with a sincere heart, not for recognition or human praise, but for the glory of Jesus Christ.

Remember, we are not serving people merely to please them. We are serving the Lord through the work He has entrusted to us.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 (KJV)

May we become believers who strengthen the church, encourage the weak, support our leaders, love our fellow members, and remain faithful to the work of God until the end.

AMEN! 🙌
