YOU HAVE AUTHORITY — BUT REMEMBER WHERE THAT AUTHORITY COMES FROM

YOU HAVE AUTHORITY — BUT REMEMBER WHERE THAT AUTHORITY COMES FROM.

Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.”

This is not a message telling us to become proud, arrogant, or fearless because of our own strength. It is a reminder that the authority of a believer comes from Jesus Christ. The enemy may attack, tempt, intimidate, discourage, and try to make you believe that you are powerless—but you do not have to surrender to fear.

There will be battles you cannot win by human strength. There will be moments when your heart becomes tired, your faith feels weak, and your circumstances seem bigger than you. But remember this: your circumstances may be bigger than you, but they are never bigger than God.

The enemy wants you to believe that you have no authority. He wants you to live in fear. He wants you to quit praying, stop believing, abandon your calling, and forget the promises of God.

But stand firm.

You are not fighting for victory—you are standing in the victory Christ has already given.

When temptation comes, choose obedience.
When fear comes, choose faith.
When discouragement comes, choose prayer.
When the enemy accuses you, remember God's Word.
When you feel weak, run toward Christ instead of running away from Him.

Your authority is not found in your emotions.
Your authority is not found in your position.
Your authority is not found in your popularity.
Your authority is not found in your own power.

Your authority is found in Jesus Christ.

So don't walk through life defeated when God has called you to stand. Don't let fear control the life that God has given you. Don't allow the enemy's lies to become louder than God's Word.

Put on the whole armor of God. Pray without ceasing. Guard your heart. Stay humble. Stay obedient. Stay close to Jesus.

And when the enemy comes against you, remember:

THE BATTLE MAY BE REAL,
BUT GOD IS GREATER.

THE ATTACK MAY COME,
BUT YOUR FAITH CAN STAND.

THE ENEMY MAY ROAR,
BUT JESUS STILL HAS THE FINAL WORD.

🔥 Stand firm. Pray boldly. Walk faithfully. Trust completely.

Because the power does not belong to you—it belongs to Christ.

“Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” — 1 John 4:4

🙏 Jesus, give us strength to stand, wisdom to discern, courage to resist evil, and humility to remember that every victory comes from You. Amen.
